Red ridge Ranch will have a new look and a new service beginning
May 1st.
The business, which has primarily boarded and trained horses for the
last four years will now be offering trail rides for groups up to 12 people.
The guided trail ride will encompass a scenic trail that winds
through woods, alongside fields and down to the Lemonwier river
Owner Cindy Kanarowski has been working all winter, collecting
horses that were quiet, gentle and well broke for her new service
Kanarowski say's that she has been riding horses since she
has been about two years old. She has worked off and on at Woodside Ranch
for about ten years as a trail guide and has been a barrel racer in rodeos.
Ann Wright, another trail guide at Red Ridge, worked at Woodside
Ranch
for about eight years and is also an experienced trail guide.
This has always been Cindy's dream say's Lyle Peterson,
Kanarowski's
friend and another trail guide. "We've kind of pushed her along"
I'm lucky to have friends like these Kanarowski said.
Trail rides will be available starting May, 1st from 9a.m. to 7
p.m. daily
for groups of up to twelve people six years old and up.
Pony rides are available for those six years old and younger. The season
lasts until Oct. 31, although off-season riding is available by reservation.
